Advantages of a Coalition And Why You Should Join It:
There are many advantages to working in a coalition. At a very basic level, members can achieve more by pooling resources together – resources that are often scarce.
But resources, too, often come with restrictions. Having a vast, structural network of advocates sharing common goals can help circumvent some of these challenges. Some service providers, for example, may have more leeway in how they expend their resources to serve their peers, depending on the funding source.
The partnerships, however, extend beyond financial resources: Each member of the coalition has its own strengths and expertise to offer that may differ from those offered by other members.
